Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
Delivery & returns
Last updated 11 August 2026
The short version: everything ships from within the UK, most orders arrive inside three working days, and you can send anything back within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.
Where your order ships from
Everything we sell is already in the country when you order it. Nothing is shipped to you from overseas, so there are no import charges, no customs paperwork and no three-week wait.
Your order is dispatched to you directly from the UK warehouse of the wholesaler we buy from. It is a UK parcel, sent from within the UK, and we are the seller you are contracting with — your rights are against us, not against them.
Times and costs
- Standard UK delivery — £3.95. Free on orders over £50.
- Orders normally leave the warehouse within one working day and arrive within two to three working days.
- If your basket contains items from more than one of our suppliers, they will arrive as separate parcels, possibly on different days. You are only charged postage once.
These are honest working estimates, not guarantees. If something is going to be materially later than this we will email you rather than let you wonder. By law we must deliver within 30 days unless we agree otherwise with you, and if we miss that you can cancel and get a full refund.
We ship anywhere in the United Kingdom, and nowhere else at the moment.
Changing your mind — your 14-day right
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can cancel your order for any reason, without giving a reason, from the moment you place it until 14 days after the day you receive it. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back.
To cancel, email hi@goodboi.co.uk and say you are cancelling. A clear statement is enough — you do not need a form or a reason.
We refund within 14 days of getting the goods back, to the payment method you used. That refund includes the standard outbound delivery charge you paid. If you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard one, we refund the standard rate.
Return postage is yours to pay unless the item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered — in which case we cover it. We can reduce your refund if the goods have been handled more than was necessary to check them, in the same way you could have handled them in a shop.
The exceptions
The 14-day cancellation right does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return once opened for health-protection or hygiene reasons, where the seal has been broken. In our range that covers salmon oil and dental chews once opened. Unopened, they can be returned like anything else. This does not affect your rights if those items are faulty.
If something is faulty
Separately from the 14-day right, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not:
- Within 30 days of delivery, you can reject the item for a full refund.
- After 30 days and within six months, we get one chance to repair or replace it; if that fails, you can have a refund.
- Up to six years from delivery you may still have a claim if the goods were not durable.
Email us with a photo and we will sort it. We pay the return postage on anything faulty.
